No Harassment to Alternative Medical Practitioners Hon’ble Supreme Court
Latest:Contents of the Judgement of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India Dated:24.11.2000
(In the Judgement and Order Date 18.11.1998 in F.A.O No. 205/92)

For want of certain clarification etc. Delhi Govt. & Union of India (Ministry of Health & F.W.) Has filled an appeal (SLP) in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India challenging the order of Hon’ble Delhi High Court Dt. 18.11.1998. upon hearing on 12.11.2000 the Division Bench of Hon’ble Justice R.C.Lahoti & Hon’ble Justice Shivraj V. Patil has rejected the plea of Delhi Govt. & Union of India and finally on 24.11.2000 the bench of the Hon’ble court Comprising Justice Rajendra Babu and B.N.Agarwal has declined to entertain the matter and SLP filed by petitioner (Delhi Govt. & Union of India) has been dismissed. The Hon’ble Supreme court of India also maintained that status quo of the order of Hon’ble Delhi High Court(FAO No.205/92) Dt. 18.11.1998 by which it has been ordered that any legally constituted institution imparting Education facilities in the filed a Alternative Medicines may issue diploma/certificate and holders of such diploma/certificate are entitled to practice the particular Faculty/Faculties covered by the said Diploma/Certificates.

Legality :
According to the Judgment of High Court Chennai, Planning Commission Report & The letter of Govt. (No. 110/8/4/77MPT/ME(P) 1979 & No 4-6/70 MPT of Govt. of India) The RMP certificate Holder can practice in alternative medicine only. He can’t practice in Surgery, Obstetrics & Radiation Therapy in any for. He can not prescribed any medicine includes ‘G’,’H’, & ‘L’ of Drugs & Cosmetic Rules 1945 and other Dangers Drug at any cost.

Licensing of R.M.P. / Registration

The Medical Board (Alternative System is Issuing RMP Certificate for Practicing in Alternative Therapies as board rules. It is accepted Internationally By alternative Medical Practitioners.

All courses will be completed by D.L.P. (Distance Learning Programmes / Distance Education Pattern or By Correspondence pattern).

Question : What is RMP Registration Certificate?

Answer: After completing Alternative Medical Course Registration is compulsory without Registration you can’t practice properly. Registration number is must for each Doctor / Practitioner.

This RMP Registration is issued by “Medical Board (Alternative Systems)” after taking registration you can practice as an Ideal Alternative Doctor following completely Medical Achar Sanhita and principles of medical treatment till the Govt will not pass any unanimous resolution or judgment about such practitioners except in the practitioner will be bound to follow the rules of their state / country. The certificate is issued by Medical Board (Alternative Systems) an unit of the University Incorporated by an organization Regd. By the Govt.

Question : What is RMP Registration Define It?

Answer: The Meaning of RMP is Registered Medical Practitioner in INDIA, Initially RMP Certificates were issued by The Govt. on Experience base for Allopathic / Ayurvedic General Practice. Later on it had been closed due to opposite of training holder Doctors since a long it is Closed till today.

So the RMP Registration are issued By this Organization or the institutes which are Registered By The Govt. It is a matter of consideration of the Govt. that more than 40  Lacks RMP Doctors are providing their Primary Health Care Services in rural. Urban and also in city areas. These Doctors are not allowed Freely to practice Nor Strongly Prohibited. There is no rule to give training to these Doctors By Govt.

So, our Organization is issuing RMP Registration On Merit base For Taking Registration form the Govt. This RMP Certificate will be a proof of the duration of Practice of a practitioner or Doctor At the time of Being Registration by Govt.

So any experience Doctor / Practitioner / Eager Professional can take RMP registration certificate from this organization. The organization will safe guard to the RMP doctors as he will bind the rules of the Board.

The NATIONAL BOARD OF ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES is granting registration – R.M.P. Certificate – in Alternative Medicines Under Rule 6(9) on the basis of qualification / Experience. Registration is issued in any Branch of the alternative medicines or  in “Alternative Medicines” in general.

Eligibility  :                 Certificate Holder of Alternative Medicines (Grade ‘C’)

                                      Those Candidates who have completed in Diploma (Grade – ‘B’)

                                      Those Candidates who have completed in PG Diploma (Grade – ‘B - Spl’)

                                      Bachelor  Certification (Grade – ‘A’) 

                                      PG Courses of the Board. (Grade ‘A’ – Spl)

    Those  Candidates who have completed a course from any authentic institution other than       

      NBAM or OIUAM (Grade B,  B-Special, A,  &  A – Special ) should pay full registration fee.

Minimum Age :   20 Years and above.

Benefits : As per rule 6(9) and 6(12) of the Board:

1.   The Registered Medical Practitioner is declared as a qualified person to practice Alternative Medicines and shall not be convicted or punished by any Government in India.

            2.   The Registered Medical Practitioner is also eligible to issue medical certificates.

You will get the following documents within 10 days from the date of receipt of the form & fees.

5.         The R.M.P Certificate duly affixed with the court fee stamp as per the order the  concerned authority of the government.                                                                      
5.        Identity Card
5.        Copy of the Rule 6(9), 6(12), 6(13), 6(14) etc. of the National Board of AlternatiMedicines under which Registration is issued.
5.        Copy of the code of conduct.

   Requirements :

5.      Three Passport size photographs.
5.     One Experience Certificate of a minimum of 5 Years experience from a Registered Medical Practitioner (RIMP) or MBBS Doctor  or M.L.A. or any  Gazetted officer should be          
5.      produced for experience holders Only ( ‘C’ – Grade).
5.     2 character certificates from two respectable persons for experience holders Only ( ‘C’ – Grade).
5.     Copy of  the  Diploma / Bachelor / PG Degree Certificate awarded by any authentic institution for B, A, A-Special Grade applicants.
5.     Aadhar Card, Passport or Ration Card Xerox or equivalent for Residential Proof.(Compulsory).

   v.     TC or Mark Sheet, Driving License or Passport for Age Proof. .(Compulsory).
